Christmas Menus

Menu 1

Carrot and pumpkin Soup with coriander and a hint of sesame oil

or

Mix vegetables tempura with devilled chutney and fresh lemon juice

Traditional slow roasted Turkey with all the trimmings

or

Grilled vegetables in filo pastry and sauce vierge V

Traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce

Menu 2

A Warm welcome of Mulled wine on arrival followed by Assiette d'ouverture (plate of colourful starters to begin with)

Baby leek and light potato with five beans soup

or

Poached Scottish salmon in a nest of filo pastry on rocket leaves with olive oil and lemon juice

Traditional oven roasted Turkey with all the classical trimmings

or

Baked fillet of Cod with sun blushed tomato, black olives and soft herb crust served with grilled polenta and seasonal vegetables

or

Short grain saffron risotto with diced vegetables and herbs toped with parmesan shavings V

Traditional Christmas Pudding with Brandy sauce

or

Winter fruit compote blanched in Curious English grape wine, cinnamon and star anise

or

Classic sweet pear stewed in pudding rice with crushed almond macaroons and vanilla tuile


Menu 3

A Warm Welcome of Mulled wine on arrival followed by Assisette d'ouverture (plate of colourful starters to begin with)

Cream of swede and parsnip with cardamom and truffle oil soup

or

Sweet cherry tomato and home made pesto Consommé (both soups will be served with warm crusty bread roll)

Sweet Pear and Champagne granita (To refresh the palate before having main course)

Slow roasted spiced goose in orange and lemon served with all the trimmings, Chipolata sausage wrapped in bacon on a cranberry and orange sauce

or

Roasted Sirloin of beef with red onion marmalade, Dauphinoise Potato with thyme and sweet roasted garlic served with veal jus.

or

Fettuccine with fresh asparagus spears in cream and cherry tomatoes V

Traditional Christmas pudding with Brandy sauce Anglaise

or

Creme Brulee served with vanilla ice cream

or

Chocolate fondant and baileys ice cream meringue
